Russell and Angela Hardy have several cats including British Shorthairs, and a few rescue moggies.
Around 1994 we started showing one or two of our cats.

We noticed it was difficult to find reasonable priced cat scratchers that were well built and sturdy. As I’m a qualified joiner and carpenter I decided to make some scratchers for our cats and for our friends cats. These were very popular with our friends and indeed with our own cats so my wife and I though it might be worth having a small trade stand at a cat show.
The response was so good we never looked back. We now attend cat shows all over the country and have a mail order delivery service. Feed back from our customers is greatly appreciated as the ideas they come up with can be incorporated into our designs.
