Russell Hardy Designs is a family run business based in the U.K.and established in 1994 , it has become renowned in the cat fancy for top quality cat scratchers/scratching posts and cat bedding. Products that are cat friendly. Russell and his dedicated team are all cat owners and enjoy designing and making the products.

All of Russell's cat furniture designs are hand crafted and designed by him to the highest specification.

All new designs are tested by his own cats before they are sold to make sure that they are cat friendly, durable and safe. The stability of these is most important as Russell's first priority is for the appeal and comfort to cats. They are also stylish and fit well into a home environment so you can be assured that your new cat scratcher, play centre etc, will give many years of pleasure to your cat or cats.

All Russell's products that are ordered through this web site are shipped to you by courier.They can be collected at the cat shows we will be attending throughout the year.We really enjoy seeing our customers at the cat shows .(for shows we are attending,see below) .

We also make a small range of scratchers, play centres for outdoor use. These are particularly useful for catteries and cat houses. Again these are strong, durable, stylish and cat friendly.

The materials we use for our products are all good quality, wooden posts, natural sisal rope and good quality domestic carpet.

Our products do not come flatpacked, all small scratchers are fully assembled and the larger scratchers come in easily assembled sections allowing you to have your scratcher ready to use in minutes.

PLEASE NOTE As the scratchers are all hand built to order,At certain times your scratcher can take approximately 30 working days from order to delivery.Please telephone us to ask about progress and we can give you a clearer idea on delivery dates. , Please allow approximately 30 days from time of order to delivery. This can be less but occasionally when there is heavy demand it is possible it can take longer ,please call us for an update on your order.Sometimes we have a small number of scratchers in stock please call us us if you need a scratcher within a few days as we may be able to help).
